Booking Appointments

We offer some “book the same day” and some that are booked for the following day. Around one third of all appointments will be available to book on line from 8am. We have extended our telephone queuing system to accommodate more calls, which will reduce the need to continuously redial. It will also mean you know what number you are in the queue. If fully staffed we will be offering approximately 100-120 GP appointments per day.

Online Patient Services

If you have registered for EMIS Patient Access you can log into online services where you can order repeat prescriptions and book a routine face to face appointment.

If you wish to register to use online services, please visit the surgery in person and bring valid photographic ID and a recent utility bill.

Prescriptions

Please remember that repeat prescriptions take at least 48 hours to process - please ensure you order your items in good time before you run out of medication - why not try our online ordering system?

  • Surgery Hours

    We are open 8.30am-6pm Mon-Fri. Our doors shut 1pm-1.45pm for lunch. If you need a doctor in an emergency during this time call 0116 852141. We close on bank holidays.

    You can view results in the NHS App or call 0116 852141 between 2-3pm Monday - Friday. Please contact your hospital consultant’s team for results of investigations requested by the hospital.
